To Upgrade:

  1. Download the correct firmware using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop.

    For North America Users only:

    6.95 MB

    For UK Users only:

    6.95 MB

    For Australia Users only:

    6.95 MB

  2. Uncompress the downloaded file and rename the file with no extension (e.g. EVA8000_V2.0.159NA_WEB) to eva.bin.
  3. Copy the eva.bin file to the root of a USB flash drive
  4. Plug the flash drive into the EVA8000.
  5. Ignore the “Scanning” message.
  6. Select More > Supervisor > Update > Specify a location
  7. Key in eva.img file – do NOT erase “/mnt/usb1/.” This is case sensitive which means “Eva.bin” is not the same as “eva.bin.”
  8. Select OK
  9. Do not turn off your EVA8000 until the upgrade process has completed.
