Cannot be used with the earlier WPN824 router !

Bug fixes & Enhancements since version 1.0.19:

1. Changed symmetric NAT implementation to cone NAT implementation to accomodate various application (e.g. online gamings, Instant Messengers) requirements
2. Able to send notification through email requiring Email Authentication
3. Added detection of LAN-WAN same subnet conflict and resolution
4. Fixed PPTP issues like long connection establishing time, router reboot caused by PPTP disconnection
5. Fixed the issue where PC with Simplied Chinese OS can't run EMule if PC reboots before connecting to router
6. Fixed the issue where ICQ (version 2003b) can not pass through the router if UPnP is enabled
7. Wireless radio is enabled in factory default

To Upgrade

This firmware is for use in North America only.

1. Download the link below to a convenient place such as your desktop.

2. Log in the router at http://192.168.1.1
3. Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade
4. Click Browse and locate the file you just downloaded.
5. Click Upload. While the firmware is loading, do not interrupt the upgrade process.

The router reboots when the upgrade is complete.

To check that the upgrade was successful, log in to the router again at http://192.168.1.1 and check the firmware version.
