- Do not turn the DMZ feature on in this release!
- Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.

- Polling interval can be configured ( in the Router Statistics window ).
Fixes
- The Attached Device page correctly shows which computers are on the LAN.
- Daylight Saving Time feature works correctly.
- Special characters may now be used in router GUI fields Host Name, User Name, Password, SSID, and Address Reservation Device Name. If you use a special character, a backslash "\" character is added before it.
- Stability is improved when using PPP.
- WEP Open Mode now works with the NETGEAR WG511v2 adapter.
- The initialization log now displays correct date.
Known Issues
- Light status is not corrrect in various situations.
- Port triggering does not work under certain circumstances.
- SPI firewall does not work.
- WEP, WPA and WPA2 do not work under certain circumstances.
- Some values that you change are not reported correctly.
- UPnP settings cannot be changed.
- MTU handling does not work.
- Various issues with site blocking.
- Remote management does not work.
To Install
Note: Do not upgrade the firmware using a wireless connection. Please perform firmware upgrade with “wired” or Ethernet connection only.
- Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to reenter them manually.
- Download using the button below to a convenient
place such as your desktop.

- Log in to the router using a Web broswer. The URL is http://192.168.1.1 ( if you did not change the router’s IP address ).
- Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade
- Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
- Click Upload. Do not interrupt the upgrade while the router does this step.
The router reboots when the upgrade is done.
- After the router boots up, log in the router again.
- Click Maintenance > Backup Settings
- Click Erase. The router reboots when the Erase operation is done.
- If you would like to check that the upgrade was successful, log in to the router again at http://192.168.1.1, and check the firmware version.
- Re-configure the router with the settings you saved in step 1. Optionally, You can use the Smart Wizard configuration assistant on the CD to reconfigure the router.
