This note describes bug fixes in the FVS124G Release Version 1.1.11 software added since Release Version 1.1.9.

Bug Fixes

   Version 1.1.11

  1. Fixed: Austria PPTP login.
  2. Fixed: DynDNS problems.
  3. Fixed: NTP time not reliable.
  4. Fixed: In some cases, SNMP access can cause router to crash.
  5. Fixed: VPN Mode Config client can not ping after Host and Group menu is accessed.

Known Issues

  1. The Dynamic DNS menu display may not show the entered values after clicking Apply. This is not a problem, they actually have been changed.
  2. The LAN subnet cannot be a Class B network.

To Upgrade

Write down all of your configuration information before upgrading.

  1. Download using the button below, and unzip to a convenient place such as your desktop. This is a large file!
  2. (3.22 MB)

  3. Using a browser, login to the router as admin.
  4. Under Management, click Router Upgrade.
  5. Click Browse and locate the upgrade file fvs124g_v1.1.11.img.
  6. Click Upload.
  7. Wait for the router to reboot and the TEST LED to turn off.
  8. Power the router off
  9. Power the router back on again.

If problems occur after upgrading, try clearing the configuration, either by using the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel or the Erase button in the Backup Settings menu. Then reenter your configuration information manually.
