Known Issues

• If using WPA-PSK or WEP in Windows 98 or Windows Me, the computer may need a complete shutdown and reboot for a stable connection.
• The card connects to a 11b or 54g 802.11 network automatically, but does not have individual b or g Network work mode selections.

Installation Instructions

Download and unzip the file below to a convenient location such as your desktop.

If Upgrading a Previous Installation

DO NOT run WG511v2700.exe, yet!

1. Select Start > Program > WG511 Adapter > Uninstall WG511 Software
2. Run the v1.6 removal utility, and complete the instructions to complete the removal.
3. Run the v2.7.0.0 installer, which is WG511v2700.exe
4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
5. If the adapter utility icon does not display: remove and reinsert the adapter. For Windows 98, Windows SE, or Windows Me, reboot your computer.

If Doing a First Time Install

1. Unzip WG511v2700.zip
2. Run WG511v2700.exe
3. Follow the instructions to complete the installation

(The software works with your WG511 card regardless of the "appearance" of the WG511 hardware.)
