Installation

1. Uninstall previous WG311 drivers and utility using Control Panel > Add/Remove Program.
2. Unzip the .zip into a temporary folder on your computer. ( E.g., c:\temp\wg311)
3. Execute the .exe file in the folder and follow the instructions.

Features Added Since July 2003 Release

  • Cisco LEAP support in native UI.
  • WPA-PSK support in native UI.
  • WPA support. XP by Microsoft Zero Config ( additional service pack by Microsoft may be needed. Windows 2000, Windows Me and Windows 98 by other companies with supplicants, such as Funk and MeetingHouse.
  • Complies with final IEEE 802.11g standard.

Other Fixed Issues

  • Changed wireless connection from non-admin user account in Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Known Issues

  • If using WPA-PSK or WEP in Windows 98 or Windows Me, the computer may need a complete shutdown and reboot in order to have a stable wireless connection.
