Why does Super G not reach 108 Mbps?

NOTE! As of November 2003, the software supports 108 dynamic (Super G) speed with ONE other NETGEAR product! Only the WGT624 running the latest firmware.

New Features

  • Supports both 108 only and Auto 108 ( dynamic 108 ). Auto 108 is compatible to 11b and 11g wireless client adapter.
  • Increase performance by adding Atheros SuperG features.
  • Fixed WPA Microsoft HotFix #815485 issue in Windows XP.
  • Enhanced InstallShield installation.
  • Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support for Windows XP. This requires either: additional supplicants from Microsoft (Windows XP Home and Professional), or FUNK software for Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows SE, Windows ME.

To Upgrade to the Driver

  1. Download and unzip the download file wg511t_v330.zip to a convenient place such as your desktop.
  2. 4.92 MB

  3. Run WG511T_v3.3.0.exe
  4. Select Remove from the InstallShield Wizard prompt and complete the removal process.
  5. Run wg511t_v3.3.0.exe again, and complete the installation process.
  6. When done, click Finish to restart your computer.
