MR814 Firmware version 4.11

The MR814 is distinguished from the MR814v2 by the bottom label. The MR814 label reads simply "MR814", as shown.

Make sure you have the right MR814 before using this firmware.

New Features Overview:

  3. Added Remote Mgt.
  4. Added Address Reservation
  5. Added Telstra Support
  6. Added Blocking of Services Schedule applies to both keywords & services blocking
  7. Changed Security to WAN Setup
  8. Added MTU adjustment (to WAN Setup screen)

To Upgrade to the New Firmware

Before upgrading, write down all your router settings, as you will re-enter them MANUALLY after upgrading.

  1. Open a browser.
  2. Access the router by typing its IP address (usually http://192.168.0.1).
  3. Login to the router (Default username = admin, password = password).
  4. Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade.
  5. Click Browse and locate the upgrade file.
  6. Click Upload.
  7. Wait for the router to reboot.
  8. Verify that the router firmware has been upgraded.
  9. Reset router to factory defaults.
  10. Wait for the router to reboot.
  11. Re-enter the settings you wrote down before upgrading.
