RP614 (aka RP614v1)
Router Firmware Version 4.15

  • This firmware is only for the RP614 router (the name does not end with "v2" or "v3", those are different products with a similar name! ).

Upgrading

Upgrade using the Web interface Router Upgrade menu.

  1. Write down all router settings you changed from the default values, as you need to reenter them after upgrading. (Examples are account name, domain name, ISP login name, and ISP login password.)
  2. Download the new firmware using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop.

  3. Using the Web browser, and access the router by typing its IP address in the browser's URL address box (this is usually 192.168.0.1).
  4. Login to the router (User Name = admin and Password = password, unless you have changed it). Can't Log in?
  5. Click Maintenance > Router Upgrade.
  6. Click Browse and locate the new firmware which you just downloaded.
  7. Click Upload.
  8. Wait for the router to reboot.
  9. Turn the router power off.
  10. Turn the router power on, and wait for the router to reboot.
  11. Reenter the settings you wrote down in Step 1.
