Known Issues

  1. Under stress conditions the wireless AP may hang in Dynamic mode (Auto108).
  2. When reserved IP entries are made on the LAN IP Setup page under Advanced, new entries show up only after clicking on a different page and then returning to the LAN IP Setup page.
  3. Refresh doesn’t work.
  4. If popup blockers are enabled on a client PC, they must be disabled for certain DG834GT Web management pages to appear, including the connection test page.
  5. The values for Line Attenuation and Noise Margin listed in Router Statistics are reversed.

To Use the New Firmware

  1. To reach the Upgrade menu, click Router Upgrade from the Maintenance section.
  2. Download and unzip the new file from NETGEAR.
  3. Connect to the router using the Ethernet ports.
  4. In the Router Upgrade menu, click Browse and browse to the location of the binary (.img) upgrade file.
  5. Click Upload.

When the upload is done, the router automatically restarts.

When uploading software to the router, DO NOT interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. An interrupted Web browser may corrupt the software.
