Enhancements and fixes are those since the previous release, 1.04.01.

IF UPGRADING FROM FIRMWARE earlier than 1.03.00, The UPGRADE should be over the Ethernet port, not over the wireless port, to avoid the possibility of corruption.
When uploading software to the router, DO NOT interrupt the Web browser by closing the window, clicking a link, or loading a new page. An interrupted Web browser may corrupt the software.

Upgrade Instructions

Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your desktop.

Connect your coputer to the router using a ethernet cable, using a browser, login to the router (the default URL is http://192.168.0.1). The user name is admin, and the default password is password.
Under Maintenance, click Router Upgrade
Click Browse and locate the file which you just downloaded and extracted: dg834(G)_V1.05.00.img
Click Upload.
Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.

If the upgrade fails, see Recover Utility.
