This note describes enhancements and bug fixes incorporated in the release
software version 1.5 Release 09. The enhancements and fixes are those
added since software release version 1.4 Release 26.
NOTE: If upgrading from a version older than v1.3, you must
first upgrade to v1.3, then to v1.5.
NOTE: You MUST clear the configuration after upgrading
(either by using the default button on the rear panel or the Erase button
in the Backup Settings menu) and reenter your configuration information
manually.

Modifications and Bug Fixes
Release version 1.5r09
- Added DHCP server address, DHCP lease time, DNS server address on
the WAN status page when WAN connection is DHCP.
- Fixed slow GUI response when UPnP enabled.
- Fixed issue when LAN interface and modem have same IP address.

- Outbound rule now supports wan ip ending in 255.
- Added UPnP in LAN IP Help page.
- Email page: if uncheck My Mail Server requires authentication.
- Improved UPnP on DMZ port (DirectX 5 issue).
- Fixed CUSeeMe firewall issue.

"ack" the fin packet correctly.
Beta version 1506
- Fixed: DNS cache caused LAN PC to get old IP for updated domain
name.
- Fixed: when "log always" selected, device only record the first
policy's matching result.
- Fixed: device getting time log will display duplicated week-day.
- Fixed: when "NONE" selected on log email send page, log still sent
when log is full.
- Fixed: device records all packets even if "all incoming/outgoing"
are not selected.
- Fixed: MSN file transfer fail between v5 & v6.
- Fixed: User defined MTU cannot be saved.
- Fixed: change password will get a "login fail, password error" log.
- Add check that user defined service name should not contain "()&"
characters.
- Improve upgrade code.
- Fixed: if refresh a website several times, device will think it
is an attack and will block this PC.
- Fixed: NULL URL will cause device hangup.
- Fixed: if ping packet length longer than 1199 will get "request
time out".
Known Issues
- If Print Server does not function after upgrade:
- Go to LANIP menu
- Disable Print Server
- Click Apply
- Enable Print Server
- Click Apply
- Logging is very verbose by default. As this may affect performance,
you may want to turn off logging of items that are not of interest
to you.
- If wireless connections fail after upgrade:
- Go to Wireless menu
- Click Apply
Upgrade Instructions
NOTE: You MUST clear the configuration after upgrading
(either by using the default button on the rear panel or the Erase button
in the Backup Settings menu) and re-enter your configuration information
manually. Please write down all of your configuration information before
upgrading.
- Download using the button below to a convenient place such as your
desktop and extract the file.

- Using a browser, login to the router (the default URL is http://192.168.0.1).
The user name is admin, and the default password is password.
- Under Maintenance, click Router Upgrade
- Click Browse and locate the file which you just downloaded:
fm114p_1509.img
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to
appear.
If problems occur after upgrading, power cycle the router, then press
the rear panel pushbutton for at least 10 seconds. Allow the router
to reboot, then reconfigure.
