This describes versions of the WG602 access point. There is no external difference between versions, except the bottom label. Versions can be identified by reading the package, or on the unit by reading the bottom label.

The firmware is not interchangable! You must select the appropriate version.

Support Site Web pages mentioning the WG602 refer to all versions, unless otherwise noted. (Marketing pages on www.netgear.com only use the most recent version.)

• It is not possible to order one particular version on the Web.
• NETGEAR is not offering to replace older models with newer ones.
• Support Web pages refer to all versions. Marketing sites (such as www.netgear.com) only refer to latest version.

WG602v4

This version is identified by the "v4" following "WG602" on the bottom label. It has a white case

This version is identified by the "v3" following "WG602" on the bottom label. It has a white case, and the serial number starts with WG17 or 143.
