WG311 Support Page

This describes versions of the WG311, which are similar, but firmware is sometimes incompatible! Versions can be identified on the shelf by reading the back or side of the package, or on the unit by reading the label.

Generally, NETGEAR pages mentioning WG311 refer to all versions.

• It is not possible to order one particular version on the Web.
• No upgrade between hardware versions is available. (Firmware upgrades are in the links below.)

WG311v3

The WG311v3 is labeled "WG311v3".

The driver for this version is NOT compatible with the WG311v2 or WG311v1 adapters. (See below for these products.)

WG311v2

The WG311v2 is labeled "WG311 v2".

WG311 (aka WG311v1)

This first version of the WG311 is labeled "WG311". (This product is now known as the WG311v1, but it was not realized there would be another chipset when it was released.)
