SPH200D phone supports the following services:

• SkypeIn
• SkypeOut
• Voice Mail
• Call Forwarding

SPH200D does not support Skype features like SMS, Video conferencing etc.

• What is SkypeIn?

SkypeIn is the facility to accept incoming calls from people who are not using Skype service. With SkypeIn, you can get your very own, regular telephone number for your SPH200D so that people can call you on your SPH200D by dialing a regular telephone number.

• What is SkypeOut?

SkypeOut is the ability to make call to regular landlines and mobile phones using your Skype account and your SPH200D. You may need to buy Skype Credits before you can use the SkypeOut service or to make International calls.

• Does the SPH200D Skype Wifi phone support Call forwarding, Conference Call, Call waiting, Caller ID?

SPH200D supports Conference calls as a client, but does not support Conference as an initiator.
SPH200D supports Call Forwarding, Caller ID, Call waiting, and Voicemail. Please check with Skype for service fee for each of these features.

• Does Skype Wifi phone support, Click to call?

Yes, the SPH200D supports Skype calls from a contact list.

• How much does it cost for someone to ring my Skype phone, will I receive an invoice?

Please visit Skype.com for available subscription plans for SkypeIn and SkypeOut services.

• Skype to Skype calls are free
• Calls from Normal Phone line to a Skype account requires a SkypeIn subscription. After paying for the SkypeIn account, incoming calls are free.

• Where can I view and change my Skype customer details?

Customer profile may be changed on the SPH200D under Settings > My Profile
Customer details can be viewed and changed through your Skype account online accounting page at Skype website.

• Do you offer residential / Business account? Does the calling cost differs?

• Can I call a destination not included in Skype country list?

You may only place a call that is recognized by Skype country list.

• What's the price of a Local / Long distance / International call on Skype?

Yes, you can have your own number by signing up for the SkypeIn service. With SkypeIn, you can get your own, regular phone number. So if your friends who aren't using Skype want to call you by dialing a regular number, you can still receive the call in Skype. No matter where you are. Yes, you can select your own Area code.

• Can we buy a 1-800 number for a Skype phone?

• Can I keep my existing Phone number for Skype phone?

No, Skype is not a telephone replacement.

• Will I be able to receive E-mail over the SPH200D Skype phone?

No, you cannot receive Email with the SPH200D.

• Will I be able to browse Internet on SPH200D?

No, the SPH200D does not have a web browser.

• Does SPH200D Skype phone support faxing?

No, SPH200D does not support faxing.

• Does SPH200D support Video conferencing?

No, SPH200D does not support video conferencing or any type of video mode.

• Will I be able to receive Voicemail on SPH200D?

Yes, you can retrieve voicemail from the SPH200D if you have voicemail service from Skype.

• Can I hide my caller Identity on the SPH200D?

Skype to Skype calls will display your Skype ID.
SkypeOut calls will not display your Skype ID.

• Can I block International calling on SPH200D?

You can enable Privacy feature on the SPH200D to accept certain type of incoming calls to your phone. (i.e.: Anyone, Only my contacts, Only authorized contacts).

• Does SPH200D support Intercomm between the handsets?

Yes, you can use the 'INT' button on the handset to call other handsets from the same Base Station.

• Does the SPH200D Skype phone support GPS?

No, there are no GPS feature on this phone

• Can I save user profiles so that I can switch between different settings?

This feature is not supported at this time.

• How to dial a land line number from the Skype phone?
