How Do I Access the Shared Disk Via FTP?

If the computer is connected from the LAN or wireless side, you can use your favorite FTP program or type in the following URL in the Internet browser address/URL field.

ftp://192.168.1.1

To access the shared disk from the Internet (WAN) side, you need the Internet IP address. Log in the router and locate this address in the Router Status page. If your computer is connected to the Internet, enter ftp://x.x.x.x in the address field of the Internet browser, where x.x.x.x is the Internet IP address.

How Do I Access to the Shared Disk Using Microsoft Networking?

If running MS Windows 2000, XP or older Windows version with networking enabled, select Start > Run and enter \\192.168.1.1 or \\WGT634U. A new explorer window pops up. Drag and drop, file open, cut, paste and other browser commands are supported in this window.
