If the WG311 Adapter Does Not Connect to the WAB102 Access Point

WG311 may not connect to WAB102 Dual Band Access Point in 802.11b mode, if the WEP security is enabled.

To resolve this problem, turn off WEP.

Be aware that turning off WEP has two other effects:

• Increases your network performance.
• Reduces your network security.
  

Turn off WEP following the instructions in the WAB102 User Guide on p. 21. That section describes the screen where you change the "WEP" radio button to "Disable". Click "Apply" and then the "Reboot" button as described.
