Macintosh Airport Extreme Card Does Not Work with MR814v2

When a connection is made the SSID is seen but message "There was an error joining the Airport network" appears.

Configure the MR814v2 and Macintosh Airport Extreme Card to be Compatible

Update the Macintosh Airport software to version 3.1 (6/19/2003).

Upgrade the MR814v2 firmware to 5.0.1. Read the "Release Notes" to make sure the upgrade is compatible with your situation.

The Airport card uses the generated key as the password. The"$" must be included in front of the key.
