Unable to display interactive switch icon in switch's GUI

When accessing the switch GUI from Microsoft Internet Explorer running on Windows Vista, cannot display switch’s icon. Internet Explorer displays message “You need the Java Plugin. Get it from here”.

Resolution

Download and install the latest JRE (Java Runtime Environment),version 1.5.0.10 or newer, from Sun Microsystem website: http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/index.html
