Compaq Presario computer does not recognize the FA310 Network Adapter.

Answer

Compaq defaults the Plug n' Play settings in the computer's BIOS to disabled. Contact Compaq for instructions on enabling this feature.If Plug n' Play has been enabled in the system BIOS and the problem still occurs, check to make sure that the Netgear adapter is seated properly in its slot.
