The MA401 AdapterUtility Shows No Signal Strength Although the System is Connected to a Wireless Network

If the system is in AdHoc Mode, then the utility does not display any signal strength. The reason is that in this mode, you might be receiving signal from multiple computers with various strength. Therefore whatever was displayed might be misleading.

While in infrastructure mode, the signal strength displayed is that coming from a single access point.
