When Removing a PC or CardBus Card, the Computer Stops Responding, Restarts, or Gives an Error Message

Solution

To prevent this, stop the card before you remove it from the computer:

1.       Double-click the PC Card icon on the taskbar.

2.       Click the card you want to remove, and then click Stop.

3.       Click OK when you are prompted to remove the card, and then click OK again.
