Software to monitor, analyze and control SNMP-managable products. It's ideal for advanced users in business applications.

NETGEAR is making available a trial version with a 30-day evaluation period.

How Do I Get It?

It's on the NETGEAR Web site, and on a CD found in newer NETGEAR ProSafe SNMP-managable products, and it can be purchased from NETGEAR resellers.

How Do I Get Support?

There is no free phone support during the evaluation period. Email questions to NETGEAR support.

For customers purchasing the full license, NETGEAR gives 30-days free phone support for installation problems only. After 30 days, full license customers also use email support.

What Address is Entered as the Discovery Seed?

The local SNMP-enabled router's IP. This IP address can be bypassed during installation and entered afterward in the discovery configuration menu.

Which Products can be Managed with ProSafe NMS?

NETGEAR’s ProSafe line of SNMP-manageable switches and access points. This includes the FSM726, FSM726S, FSM750S, FSM7326P, GSM712, GSM712F, GSM7224, GSM7312, GSM7324 and WG302. (Definition of SNMP).

In the future, ProSafe NMS will manage NETGEAR and other standards-based SNMP-manageable devices.
